Rappelling

I joined the Garner side rappelling and picnic-ing near the Salt River last week. Wonderful day full of wonderful company!

We celebrated on the 13th - it was the first Saturday we've had fully off together in months with nothing we had to do so it was pretty much awesome. (other than waking up at 6am to go to Cub Scout training)

I played with my food...



...we went to Schnepf Farms to see the peach blossoms...





...and walk around the farm, except it looked more like a carnival.






I took some pictures of Benson...




...and he took some of me. Only he kept making me laugh so they all look like this.



I was just sitting there smiling nicely and he just kept making me laugh...I wasn't being weird at all.

It was almost like we traveled back in time. I hadn't been there in years so it was really fun to see all the neat stuff they have!



Not sure why, but I fell in love with this bench. Am I weird?



I also fell in love with this Piano and wanted to take it home.



I got some roses - my favorite part was the babies breath. (I'm starting to think I AM weird)



We ate dinner at joes BBQ then went to blockbuster to rent a movie. We ended up at his parents picking movies instead - they have a much better selection.



Also, the men in our ward made cookies had cookies made for their wives and made us all Valentine's cards. It was cute. The cookies were YUMMY!

Great to be 8

My niece Liberty is getting baptized this weekend so last Friday I took her out in her pretty white dress to take pictures at the temple. They turned out SO pretty - it helps that she's such a cute little girl! I can't believe how big she is getting!

We decided to celebrate the new year in lakeside this year at Nate & Heidi's new house!

Most of our family came along as well and we had lots of fun staying up late and playing in the snow!

New Years Eve!

Reagan was offered a ride in the sled but insisted on walking...

then he got snow on his gloves and was quite upset.

Jake is apparently way too cool for sledding. He prefers being half buried in snow.

San Diego

Benson and I took advantage of the $25 Southwest flights and our (finally) free schedules right after school ended and took a fun trip to San Diego and then to St. George! Unfortunately I didn't take one picture in Utah, but here's a few from California!

November - Still working on the re-model

Other things to note in 2009:
I was licensed as a CNA
We FINISHED the kitchen (finally, I'll post pictures soon)
Benson finished another semester with all A's
We served in the Temple
We were able to take lots of trips with friends and family
